I am a LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) in the states of Colorado and Virginia working with Adults and Couples.
My practice is integrative. That means our work together will be informed from a highly varied background that includes Western modalities, Energy Psychology, Buddha Psychology and alternative perspectives. I am a person-centered therapist, taking a compassionate, reflective, and non-judgmental approach in all I do. Through deeper emotional awareness, I will work with you to understand how your connection to your inner self, your connections in relationships and in your communities are creating a personal narrative that influences your life.
So how do we do this?
Focusing on boundaries
Understanding attachment
Creating a meditation and mindfulness practice
Tackling anxiety and trauma
Pushing into communication processes and internal dialogue
Setting intentions and taking action

I leverage Western approaches of Narrative Theory, Cognitive Behavioral, and Strengths-Based Therapy. I offer acupressure in the form of Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), or tapping, as a highly respected evidence based way to approach anxiety and trauma. EFT is very calming to the nervous system, allowing anxiety to ease.
I have trained in ancient indigenous practices and divination for more than 10 years. I do offer healing sessions, tarot readings and workshops. Please let me know if you are interested in these offerings.
